The place was fairly clean, I booked the double room with sea views, everything was really good. My room included an individual safe, climate control, and a minibar. Hotel's location was best possible and quiet, in the middle of the city.

During my recent stay at Lagoona Sunset, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The bed provided a great night's sleep, and the daily cleaning ensured a tidy and pleasant environment. The location of the hotel was also a major plus, with everything on the small island of Maafushi just a short walk away. But what truly stood out was the warm and welcoming service from the staff. Ahmed, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, answering all our questions and offering assistance whenever needed. Despite the minor inconvenience of the twin bed put together, our overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend Lagoona Sunset to anyone looking for a wonderful stay on this beautiful island. I had a fantastic time and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent our Easter holidays on a cozy island hotel and it was amazing! the rooms were spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. the location was excellent, everything was easily accessible. We loved the friendly staff who were always ready to help. the breakfast was a feast! We also enjoyed the daily refills of water in the room.
There was one night when someone was playing loud music which echoed in the hallways, but it wasn't a big problem for us. the TV in the room was not functional, but we didn't mind much since we were out exploring the island most of the time.

The service was welcoming and they gave us a complimentary drink. The hotel was located in a non-crowded area and close to the port. the room was cleaned every day.
The bed was uncomfortable since it was two twin beds pushed together. , the towels were not clean enough.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the location was ideal - right by the harbour and just a short walk to the beautiful Bikini beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service from start to finish. Additionally, the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with a balcony offering lovely views. Lastly, the breakfast, personally prepared by the talented Bablu, was absolutely delicious and catered to all dietary needs.
One small thing that could be improved was the occasional noise from the hallway, but it didn't significantly impact my overall experience.
